It offered 30 acute care beds, surgery, delivery room and emergency services. Room rates at this time were $9.00 a day, semi-private and $12.50 a day private (ah, the good old days). The
first expansion for the facility was in 1969, which
opened up 40 beds for use as a nursing home. In 1974, the
hospital "West Wing" was opened and brought our
capacity to 26 acute care beds. Later, the original
acute wing was renovated into nursing home space
providing 17 additional beds. In November, 2000, our new
nursing home expansion was opened with 72 nursing home
beds and 2 personal care beds as well as a larger dining
room/activity room area, shower/bath facilities and
office space. Contact Information Telephone
