Freeland & Freeland, Lawyers

CREDITS & ETC.

The Oval Pictures

Each page of this web site contains an oval picture with the name of a lawyer who practiced with James Stone or at 1013 Jackson Avenue. These are photographs of the ceiling in and in the hall just outside T.H. Freeland, IV's office; the mural was painted by local painter Gus Uth at the time of the 1905 renovations. Details about those lawyers and their work with Stone are found in the history page in this site. At the time Uth painted the "back office" ceiling, he painted Masonic emblemary on the front office ceiling. These were lost over time. The Longstreet picture is at the foot of the profile page; the pictures for Sivley, Wilson, Mayes, and Lowrey are on the history page. The Sam Cook picture is at the foot of this page.
