In addition, the background screening system we use is the best in the business. We recruit experienced PCA's who are seasoned in attending to the needs of our clients. We will only refer a PCA to you who has the necessary experience to fulfill your individual needs. Most important, most of our PCA's provide references to us from sources we can trust (other homecare agencies, hospitals, nursing facilities, churches, hospices, assisted living communities etc.). We also emphasize the intangible traits of the PCA (such as a caring personality) which will mean so much in your day to day experience in working with them.
You are in charge of everything. "Oxford
HomeCare" will not dictate to you what your schedule is to be (i.e.
what time to get up, when to bathe, meal schedules etc.). It is our job
to adjust to your schedule and to see to it that you remain comfortable
in your own home.
Upon the initial phone call we begin by making an appointment at the potential client's home. The client's health and ADLs ( activities of daily living) are determined through discussions with you and any involved family members; when necessary we consult with the physician(s) of the client, hospitals, or nursing home staff. Next, we develop an individualized program to help manage your daily needs. The plan is reviewed with legal guardians or other responsible family members and service agreements are signed for immediate or future service. We will then match a PCA to a client based on skills needed for care, personality and availability. PCA's are oriented to the client with detailed explanations of special needs and requirements.
After the PCA has
been placed in your home, we continue our unique system of personalized
services through telephone check-in and home visits. Also, we are
available to our clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When it comes
to our clients or clients family we never close.

**The above mentioned hourly rate is for 24 hour a day, 7 day a
week care. You may be quoted a higher rate depending on the days of the
week, number of hours per day or time of day you need services. Rate
will not exceed $10.00 per hour for one person requiring care and $4.00
per hour for each additional person requiring care in the same
