Team Development and History
Our goal, which encompasses our club philosophy, is:
to create self-disciplined athletes who have respect for their fellow competitors and themselves; are proud of their accomplishments; are able to accept challenges, seek knowledge and continue to encourage and support the sport of competitive swimming.
SWAT membership covers a 70 mile radius with Tupelo as a center point. SWAT of North Mississippi has approx 60 members who practice out of Oxford and Senatobia. The Shockwave Team team has approximately 160 age group swimmers from 4 different locations, age 6 up, who travel and compete throughout the Southeast Region of the United States.
