Rebecca
swam competitively for over 15 years representing Badger
Swim Club
in Larchmont N.Y. under John Collins. Competed for 3 consecutive years
on the National Modern Pentathlon Team placing top 7 the last two years.
Rebecca has over 15 years of coaching experience. She relocated
to Mississippi in 1996 and has worked to build competitive swimming in
Northern Mississippi. Upon inception of NMS there were 12 swimmers.
Currently, over 60 children are active, seven have qualified top 5 in
the state consistently. Alex Mullen was outstanding eight and under boy for
2001 and for the last two years the Outstanding Swimmer Award for 13-14
girls has gone to one of our senior swimmers Fiona Gispen.
Asst. Coach: Ken Uhl
Rebecca's father brings NMS a wealth of knowledge with over 50 years of
swimming knowledge and experience including Masters swimming. Mr. Uhl
works with the younger children predominately developing skills and comfort.
