| Dr. Mahmoud A. ElSohly is president and laboratory director of ELI.
He serves as research professor in the National Center for Development
of Natural Products, Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and
Professor of Pharmaceutics in the School of Pharmacy at the University
of Mississippi. Dr. ElSohly is the director of the Marijuana Project
at the University of Mississippi which is funded by the National Institute
on Drug Abuse.
Dr. ElSohly received his B.S. in pharmacy and his M.S. in pharmacy and
pharmaceutical sciences from Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt, and his Ph.D.
in pharmacognosy from the University of Pittsburgh. He is board certified
by the American Board of Forensic Medicine (BCFM) and the American College of
Forensic Examiners (BCFE).
Dr. ElSohly holds a number of patents dealing with the processing, testing,
and detection of drugs of abuse. He has written over 150 scholarly articles
relative to drugs of abuse, and he is constantly in demand as a presenter and
speaker at national scientific conferences. He is a member of many scholarly
scientific societies and was recognized by The Scientist (April 17, 1995)
and Science Watch (January, 1995) as the second-most cited
author in forensic sciences in the world for the period 1981-1993.

| Bettye H. Galloway has been with the corporation and the laboratory since its
inception and currently serves as the executive vice president. Ms. Galloway
attended the University of Mississippi where she served as manager of the university's
personnel office and as coordinator of annual giving. Prior to the establishment of
ELI, she also served as a test examiner for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management
and as director of the Northwest Mississippi Community College Foundation. Ms.
Galloway has administrative and supervisory responsibility for the day-to-day operation
of ELI including but not limited to personnel, finances, marketing, accounts receivable
and payable, and reporting of results.

| Timothy P. Murphy, a graduate of Colby College, was first employed by ELI in 1991.
He currently serves as the laboratory manager. Prior to joining ELI, he worked at
the Veterans Administration Hospitals in Bedford, Massachusetts, and New Orleans,
Louisiana. Since his employment at ELI, Mr. Murphy has participated in a variety
of research projects, including development of a cannabis fingerprint and development
of analytical methods for detection of drugs of abuse in meconium and other biological
specimens, and has co-authored several scientific papers.

| Shixia Feng, research chemist, received a B.S. in chemistry from Shanghai Teachers University
and an M.S. in chemistry from the University of Mississippi where he is currently pursuing
the Ph.D. in chemistry. Prior to Mr. Feng's employment with ELI in 1995, he served
as visiting research fellow at the Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and as research
associate at the Shanghai Institute of Planned Parenthood Research in the People's
Republic of China. Mr. Feng performs the primary synthetic work at the lab and oversees
other special projects. He has co-authored approximately 10 scientific articles since 1992.
