Members of the Hobo community helped out Saturday morning during a fund drive by
Water Valley High School East Lab students who were raising money for the medical
expenses of Tonya Stone, who was injured in a recent car accident. Collecting on Main
Street in front of the Water Valley Casey Jones Railroad Museum were Mama Jo LeCount
of Blue Springs, Missouri, (left) and Miss Charlotte O’Briant of Amory, Mississippi,
(right) along with local volunteers Bill Norris and WVHS student Cassie Rockette.
The hobos performed Friday afternoon for patrons at the Blackmur Memorial Library
